So many ways and so little time!

Design has been a main part of my life since the age of 15 years.  I was always sewing, reading, redecorating, painting and recycling furniture…..trying to turn something "ho hum" into my visualised finished icon piece! I have certainly come a long way since then and developed practical skills and invaluable knowledge.

I have never had trouble visualising a finished object or project.  It is just a natural ability that actually consumes me until it is completed to the final detail.  (hence  many sleepless nights, which I don't charge for!)

My clients totally inspire me! I often interpret and visualise what is right for them within the first minutes of our meeting.   I have a strong belief that people always know what they want, but they get confused by all the choices.  It is up to me to tap into them and find out what they love and inject their personality or story into their living or commercial environment.

I normally go by the philosophy of have what you want!  There are no rules. I aim to capture it tastefully (designer style!) and make it work.  I relish the challenge. It is too easy to go by the book.  A good designer should know how to make an impact and achieve a unique edge.

My many residential and commercial clients, (who so often, have ended up being wonderful friends) are my best form of advertising!  I thank them so much for letting me into their personal lives and businesses.
