After a recommendation from a business acquaintance, we employed
Kim from Parkhurst Design to redesign our Customer Lounge and Board
Room. Being Mercedes-Benz, the quality and finish had to be
of the highest standard. Not only were we very impressed but
we also receive positive comments from customers regularly.
An international Motor Industry trainer who travels the world
believes we have the best Board Room he has ever seen.
After working with Kim on our last home, we have now engaged her
to work with our Architect and to oversee the interior design of
our new home which we have just started to build. We have no
hesitation in recommending Kim, we have found her to be truly
professional and a pleasure to work with.

Kim from Parkhurst Design did a fantastic job working with
myself and the build team of my custom Sport Fisher, Lady Alison. I
highly recommend Kim as a talented and efficient interior designer
and importantly someone who is very easy to get along with.
Rolf Masfen, Owner Lady Alison
I feel very privileged to have known Kim from Parkhurst Design
since 2005 when she came highly recommended to assist me with the
renovation of a commercial office. I could see immediately
that Kim had a unique ability with the use of colour. Since
this time, I have been lucky to have had Kim assist me with many
renovations and a new house build choosing all interior colours,
wallpapers and furnishings as well as exterior colours.
Kim is always professional, listens, and is therefore very
understanding of your requirements. She is very easy to deal
with, fun to work with and she always completes the project in the
time frame required.
I would not hesitate to ask Kim for assistance with any future
project I might have and would be most appreciative to have Kim's
input. I know I can leave the interior design side of any
project to Kim whom I trust to come up with the perfect

I initially contacted Kim to help with the selection of colours
on the exterior and interior of our new home. Kim was quick
to identify our needs and incorporate our ideas while enabling us
to keep to budget. After one hour Kim gave us confidence to
contract her further to help select furniture, window treatments,
light fittings and accessories for our home. Because of her
involvement our home is unique, comfortable, stylish but still a
home. Kim was so easy to work with and I would not hesitate
to work with her again and recommend her to others.

Kim has worked with me on a number of projects over the past few
years. I have always been impressed with her ability and
willingness to listen to the clients brief and tailor the interior
colours and fabrics to best suit that clients individual and
Kim is also not afraid to be adventurous and risqué with colours
when the style of project permits.
Kim is somewhat like a breath of fresh air in marine interior
design in that she in not dictatorial and will adapt her own
thoughts to that of the client and designer to have the end result
one that we can all be justly proud.
Bill Upfold, Principal Designer – Elite Marine Design
I have known Kim Forkert of Parkhurst Design for over 15 years
through her interior design work that she has done on both business
and private colleagues and friends of mine. When my wife and
I decided to totally refurbish our beach house it was naturally
Parkhurst Design that we engaged for our project. We enjoyed
working with Kim and our finished cost effective result is amazing
considering the parameters we had to work with. We would like
to work with her again one day and have no hesitation in
recommending Parkhurst Design as an interior designer for
commercial, marine and private work.
